I decided to create this website to help others who find themselves in the same confusing and depressing situation I found myself in back in 2007.

After researching online for what seemed like forever and getting no answers to all the questions I needed answering or getting conflicting answers to my questions I decided to go ahead and pay the costly migration agents fees in hope that they would be able to help me.

After spending over $1000 to receive a few photocopied sheets of paper of other peoples alledged application forms, and a few confusing forms which were downloaded from immi.gov.au (australian governments free website), i was left without having any more of an idea if I was eligible to emigrate or not. I also had my Australian immigration agent in high pressure sales mode wanting even more money to continue with the next step, so that's when I decided to cut my losses and cancel my arrangement with the agent and try and complete the visa process on my own.

The good news is, its surprisingly easy, and looking back now it makes sense, the agent is the middle man who knows the questions that the Australian government need answering, Then asks the questions to you. Whether you use an agent or not, you still have to answer the exact same questions but they are asked by either the agent or the Australian government. And all the agent does is know what questions to ask, and when to ask them (and of course, what to charge $$$$).

And that is where I hope Australian-immigration-advice.com can assist you and many others in the Australian immigration process (without the costly australian immigration agent fees).

Since moving to Australia in January 2009 I have made it both my job and my hobby to carry out as much research as possible on all things Australia related, so I hope you find this website useful and come back to visit us often.
